ISLE OF SKYE WORKSHOPS
From spring 2020: One-to-one (or one-to-two) instruction, two hours long, in my garden studio by arrangement. If the weather turns out mild, we could paint on location.
£50 a person including materials.
Important: My studio is a few miles north of Uig on the Trotternish Peninsula, on the 57A/57C bus route, parking for a car at top of drive. Bring a drink if you want something other than water or black coffee; studio is up a few stairs; there is no access to a toilet (nearest public toilets are at ferry terminal in Uig).
HOW TO BOOK: Email me on art(at)marion(dot)scot and let me know what/when/etc you’re interested in doing.
COMMENTS FROM ART WORKSHOP PARTICIPANTS:
“Thank you for a wonderful three day workshop. You taught me heaps about composition, technique and media and I enjoyed being challenged in such a supportive environment. Thank you for your generosity with your ideas and knowledge, and for your enthusiasm for sharing your passion. Thanks also for nurturing any glimpse of ability! I loved what I achieved, and am excited about the possibilities and potential which may lie ahead!” — JR“We really can’t say thank you enough for the time we had together! Both of us are very clear it was the highlight of our time on Skye. We love the beauty and wildness of the island, but the workshop together was special! For me it was a real ‘life experience’ which continues to enrich me and I look at what came of our time together on canvas and in sketch book with a real sense of pride.” J &A.
