Just Off My Easel: “Two’s Company”

The in-house art critic said “Three” was a tad cryptic for a painting title, so “Two’s Company” it is.

“Two is Company”. 100x100cm.

A couple of detail photos to give a sense of the layers and mark-making:

  1. Wow, LOVE it! Thanks SO much for you technique close-ups. It’s beautiful, and the title makes the sheep seem funny somehow. I love waking up to your work. Signed, A Fan

  2. You seem bold to me and do not mind breaking the so-called “rules.” “Degas” it and bring a fourth figure up close and partially entering the scene from the right!

    1. Art rules are made to be pushed and broken, I think. Degas for composition is an inspired idea, thank you!
