Spot Dunvegan castle. It is in the photo, I promise.
But with sea thrift turning swathes pink like this, I could not stay focused on the castle. So after one dubious drawing of the castle, I switched my efforts to rocks and pink, with happier results.
Isn’t nature wonderful, she never ever gets it wrong, but it takes a human to see it all. Really nice pictures of the thrift and the rock formations, and all the different colours. Oh yes, I can just about see the castle. I wonder what Turner would have done about the castle.
Ooh, a Turner-esque castle … Now there’s an appealing idea!
‘Never mind the castle feel the sea pinks’ lovely.
Can see the castle any time but not the pink carpet!
Thank you for sharing the beautiful location and art!
You are one of the best teacher I’ve ever had. Since following you on the media untill now learning your way of dealing with the wide and rich vista in front of you.
Wish i could visit you, but being a continent and two seas away, makes it impossible.
Anyway , i still love to follow your work and learn.
Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Selina!
