I’m happy to be able to report that a box with new copies of my “Painter’s Pocket Muse“ has now arrived from the printers, and I’ve just edited the page on my webshop to show that it’s back in stock (here).
“Painter’s Pocket Muse” is a collection of favourite inspirational quotes (some I’ve had as Monday Motivators), with space underneath to write your own thoughts or to journal, illustrated with details from my paintings and a couple of on-location photos.
The reprinted edition is near-identical to the first, though I changed a few of the photos which had previously printed a bit dark and it’s on slightly thicker paper (uncoated, so a pencil or pen will write on it well). It was done with a different printing company, and they’ve done a beautiful job, starting with the “velvet-touch” lamination on the cover which is ever so tactile.
I’ve dropped some copies off at Skyeworks Gallery and will also have some with me at Country Living Christmas in Glasgow, which runs from Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 November at the SECC. If you buy a copy directly (using this link) and would like me to write a dedication, do add a note at the checkout (in the “order notes” box).
I’ve found myself comparing the paint splatters on my shoes between the photo above and the photo below a bit over a year ago with the first printrun.
The yellow/orange on the left shoe happened at the weekend. Splat!
