My bunch of white roses is past its prime and I have to agree with the in-house art critic that there is something of the Miss Havisham’s about them. But the changes in colour, shape and texture as they fade and dry out has been interesting, so I’ve kept them.
This is the painting that came from them today. Acrylic ink and acrylic paint on A1 cream mountboard.
