Photos: Snow at Slig

Each season has its own beauty. Snow shows the shape of the landscape anew, stretched tight over the skeleton (until more falls, then it lies like a comforter), in a more limited palette of sepias, umbers, whites, blue-greys, and at times bright blue in the sky. Perylene green’s a useful colour too.

  1. Here Here. Good pictures. If I had to chose between them, I think the third one down as far as composition and otherwise generally, is my fav.

    1. Thanks Peter! The third one is the view you get standing in the centre of the old bridge. I did have to angle up a bit to crop out a photographer with a tripod on the bank to my left.

  2. The Photographer obviously thought something similar, but hey ho, as long as everybody is happy – including the cat. Our cat is the office manager, a post especially created for him.
